A CORRECTION: We are sorry to inform you that our updated Heritage of Hope Workbook has not yet been released by Amazon.

A QUESTION:  HAVE YOU COMPLETED YOUR HERITAGE OF HOPE CHECKLIST?  If your legal documents are signed & notarized, congratulations!  The majority of Americans fail to do this. If you’ve made your final arrangements with a funeral home and a cemetery, you have saved your family much turmoil and anxiety. If your testimony is written, you have honored the Lord. Congratulations!

IF YOU ANSWERED YES, COULD YOU GIVE US SOME FEEDBACK? A short email to Melody.W.Miller@gmail.com  would be most welcome. Some folks struggle to finish the HOH process, and we would like to be able to assist them.  How did you process the Heritage of Hope materials—in a large group at church? Or a small group? With family? Individually? Have you experienced peace knowing your final arrangements are complete? Do you see ways that Heritage of Hope might have better helped you?

IF YOU HAVE NOT YET COMPLETED YOUR HERITAGE OF HOPE CHECKLIST, IS THERE SOMETHING YOU NEED THAT WE COULD PROVIDE? Are there items on the HOH Checklist that seem confusing? that you would like addressed more fully? Do you have specific questions or need additional resources?  Please let us know, and we will try to address these subjects in future blogs.

PREVIOUS FEEDBACK from HOH alumni has been sparse but positive. Family members of our HOH alumni have shared how thankful they were that their loved one’s end-of-life preparations were clear and complete. They were quite pleased to follow instructions and not need to make difficult decisions when they were grieving. Carrying out the wishes of the deceased was even satisfying; they knew what to do.  Freed up, they reported being able to comfort one another by revisiting treasured memories. Consequently, the death of their loved one was much easier on everyone involved. Such feedback has been incredibly encouraging to those of us on the Heritage of Hope board. The focus of this ministry is a subject most folks do not wish to discuss let alone prepare for! Consequently, feedback is sparse but very welcome. In fact, the purpose of this blog is to invite it! We would be delighted to hear from you.
